US Sales Desk

We email US buyers for you. One by one.

We find matching US companies, write each email from scratch based on their website, and handle every reply from our US mailboxes — until you get a yes or a clear no. $100 to try 100 companies.

Chris Wu · anvol.devTue 9:12 AM PT

Hi Dana — noticed your new 24V DC drive line. A factory we work with in Shenzhen builds similar motor controllers for a US distributor, 20-day samples. Want the spec sheet and price range?

Dana M. · buyerTue 2:40 PM ET

Interesting. Send the spec sheet, and what's MOQ and lead time at 500 units?

Chris Wu · anvol.devTue 3:05 PM ET

Spec sheet attached. 500 is fine, 35 days after sample approval. Free Thursday for 15 minutes on certification requirements?

Real numbers

Our first campaign — every number, nothing hidden

This is the first campaign we ran, and we ran it for ourselves — promoting Anvol's own hardware engineering services. From August 5 to September 9, 2026, we sent 968 one-to-one emails to hardware makers, open-source hardware project authors, and small electronics sellers in the US and overseas: Tindie sellers, crowdfunding creators, indie hardware people. One email per company, each written from scratch based on the recipient's website. No templates, no sequences.

Important caveat: these recipients were makers and indie sellers, not corporate procurement teams. Enterprise buyers are harder to reach and reply less. That's exactly why our guarantee is set at 3% — well below the 13.5% we actually measured. We'd rather set a bar we can clear for any audience than inflate expectations with numbers from a friendlier one.

Reply rate counts every human reply — including "not interested" and "not now". Auto-replies and out-of-office messages are excluded.

Industry average cold email reply rate is 3.4%. B2B typically lands between 5–9%. Anything above 10% is considered excellent. We hit 13.5%.

Hard bounce rate: 1.1%. We run 111 mailboxes across 5 sending domains, all with SPF/DKIM/DMARC, capped at 15 sends per mailbox per day. Any mailbox that crosses 2% bounces over a 14-day window gets auto-paused. Complaint rate red line: 0.3%. We only email personal addresses — never role accounts like sales@ or info@.

Zero orders so far. We are in pilot stage and this page will be updated when that changes. The 35 substantive inquiries asked about MOQ, lead time, pricing, and assembly — real supplier questions, not polite brush-offs. But an inquiry is not an order, and we won't pretend otherwise.

Process

How it works

Step 01

Find your buyers

From your product line, we build a list of matching US companies and the right person's verified email. Hundreds to thousands of targets — far beyond the cards you collected at the show.

Step 02

One email per company

Every email is written from that company's own website — what they sell, what they build. Not a template. Each one is reviewed before sending.

Step 03

Send from US mailboxes

Sent from real-person US mailboxes, warmed up over weeks, rotated across domains. We only send to verified individual contacts — never role addresses like sales@ or info@.

Step 04

Work every reply

Replies land in our inbox. We triage, answer questions, send your quotes and samples, and follow up in US business hours — until it's an order or a clear no. The founder reads every reply.

What they wrote back

Real replies, real words

Names only — product names and company names removed. Not a single word changed.

there is a legitimate opportunity here I think

Why email works

Email is how US B2B buyers actually evaluate new suppliers. But it only works if it reaches the inbox, reads like a person wrote it, and gets a fast, competent reply in their time zone.

Infrastructure

Under the hood

Every component exists because a shortcut we tried earlier broke something.

01

Mailbox pool

111 mailboxes across 5 sending domains, hosted on established providers — we ride their IP reputation, not a self-hosted server. Every address is a real-name variant of the founder (chris@, chris.wu@). No fake employees.

02

Authentication & self-check

SPF, DKIM, DMARC on every domain — nothing sends until all pass. Each mailbox runs an SMTP+IMAP probe with a unique token before entering rotation; if it can't read its own bounces, it's excluded.

03

Warm-up & volume ladder

Mailboxes email each other, reply, and rescue messages from junk; volume ramps daily. Sending follows a 3 → 8 → 15/day ladder — each step requires <2% bounce and zero complaints. Hard ceiling 15/day per box; complaint red line 0.3%.

04

Reputation protection

Load spread across domains so no single domain carries all the risk — lesson from an early single-domain run that hit 3–4.7% bounce. Rolling 14-day bounce gate halts sending above 2%. Suppression list enforced on every send.

05

Recipient discovery & rules

Targets from a web crawl of the segment, verified through MX lookup and email verification services. Individual contacts only — role addresses (sales@, info@) excluded; they bounced ~10× more in our data.

06

Writing & reply handling

A frontier language model drafts one email per company from its website. A QA gate checks facts and banned phrases before queuing. Replies thread in one conversation, auto-classified, then answered by a person in US hours. Founder reads all.

FAQ

Questions we get before the first call

Something not covered? Ask us directly →

No. Emails go out from Anvol's own US mailboxes in the founder's real name, introducing your factory and products. Your domain stays untouched — no risk to your sender reputation.

We keep sending new emails at no cost until you reach 3 human replies, or we refund the full $100 — your choice. Auto-replies and out-of-office messages don't count toward the 3.

Yes. We deliver the full 100-company list with contact names and verified emails for your review. You can remove any company you don't want us to contact. Nothing goes out until you approve.

ListKit is a SaaS platform — they build and maintain software, UI, integrations, and support for thousands of self-serve users. We're a small team that does the work directly. No platform to maintain means lower overhead. We're also early and pricing aggressively because we'd rather earn your trust at $199 than lose you at $597.

Each email is drafted by a language model from the recipient's company website, then passes a fact and wording check and a human review before it goes out — no templates. All replies are answered by a person during US business hours. Founder Chris Wu personally reads every single reply.

Yes. US commercial email is governed by CAN-SPAM. We comply: real sender identity, real physical address, a working opt-out in every email, and suppression lists honored immediately.

Your product catalog, price ranges, MOQ, a list of your best current US customers so we know what a good fit looks like, and someone who can answer technical questions within a day.

List building takes one to two weeks. First replies typically arrive in the first sending week. But real conversations — quotes, samples, specs — take weeks to develop. Don't expect orders in month one.
